  • Diver Prerequisites:
    - Certified diver who has dived within the last 2 years, and has previously dived in the ocean (if you have not then please enquire about our afternoon Refresher sessions).
    - Physically and mentally fit to scuba dive, as well as physically fit to do normal activities (e.g. swimming unassisted, walking unassisted, climbing the dive ladder unassisted).
    - If over the age of 79, please contact us prior to booking, and provide us with a recently approved medical examiner's evaluation form.

Our Designated Certified Diver Trip Is The Morning 2-Tank Boat Trip

Best trip to book as a confident certified diver?

Our Morning 2-Tank Boat Trips are our designated certified diver trips. If you are a group, and morning’s don’t suit, please reach out to us, and if possible, we can look to schedule an afternoon trip designated to certified divers.

Please note: DiveCarib require all certified divers who have not been diving for a period of two to five years to complete an afternoon Refresher session before joining our certified diver trips. If it has been five years or more since your last scuba dive, we require you to complete an afternoon Back To Basics session.

You can save money by booking a 3, 4, 5, or 10-day package at checkout (only applicable to morning dives).

What to expect

Once you arrive at the dive centre, you will be introduced to our team, asked to complete paperwork, and given the equipment that you need, before one of our PADI professionals conducts a pre-dive briefing that will cover all aspects of the trip.

After the dive briefing we will board the boat, and for divers using our rental equipment, we will elaborate on specific points regarding the equipment.

The boat ride is an experience in itself, with so much to see from the water, giving you another viewpoint to admire this beautiful island.

Upon arrival at the dive site, divers kit up, and complete a pre-dive safety check, before entering the water.

The cylinder type is aluminium S80 (11.2 litre) with a starting pressure of 3000 Psi (207 Bar); dive times are set at one hour, or a minimum end/surface pressure of 500 Psi (35 Bar).

A PADI professional, with extensive knowledge of the local underwater realm, leads all dives.
